National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Raleigh Heating & Air knows the far-reaching effects of this disease. In fact, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Given that information, our company has proudly partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to bring hope and awareness to the cause.

NBCF is dedicated to helping women during every step of their cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment to self-care and mental wellness.

This month, the Raleigh Heating & Air team will be working with NBCF to prepare and distribute care packages, called HOPE Kits, to women across the U.S. facing breast cancer.

Each HOPE Kit is filled with thoughtful items NCBF has identified as comforting, encouraging, or useful to patients undergoing treatment. Fuzzy socks, inspirational bracelets, and HOPE journals are just some of the gifts included in the HOPE Kits.

As a part of this community, we at Raleigh Heating & Air are humbled to have the opportunity to serve in this way. We’re proud and excited to partner with an organization dedicated to working tirelessly to support the women who are diagnosed and provide funding for life-changing programs for women impacted by this disease.
