HVAC Ductwork and Fittings (Lined or Unlined)

For proper operation and high efficiency performance, ductwork must be more than just properly installed and rigorously maintained. Efficient custom ductwork starts at the fabrication shop. If your HVAC ductwork and fittings are not fabricated with precision, your heating and cooling system will not work efficiently. Any gaps inside ill–fitting joints and connections will create air leaks and energy loss. Call Raleigh Heating & Air for quality HVAC ductwork and fittings fabrications.

Plenum Fabrication by Raleigh Heating & Air

The plenum in your ductwork system is part of the supply and return system. In residential systems, the supply air plenum generally sits on top of the furnace. It is important that the plenum is properly sized and fabricated for efficient, safe airflow. There are clearances specified by the furnace manufacturer for the front, back, sides and tops of the plenum, so you must be sure that your plenum is appropriate for your specific furnace and its requirements. There is a second, return air plenum, which is usually attached to the side of your furnace. This return plenum, or air drop, must be fabricated to match the required airflow of the specific furnace. To ensure that your plenum is properly fabricated to the correct specifications, call a reliable sheet metal fabrication contractor. The sheet metal experts at Raleigh Heating & Air will make sure that your ductwork is as effective and efficient as possible.
